We pride ourselves on the importance of building relationships within the design community and offering support for the betterment of our members and industry.

Design Professional

$250

For applicants who have acquired interior decoration and/or design competencies through formal training or demonstrated professional industry experience. This membership includes Interior Designers, Interior Decorators, Interior Stylists, Colour Consultants, Lighting Designers, Landscape/Garden Designers and other related industry professionals.

Applicants must be able to supply one of the following:-
Certificate or transcript demonstrating a minimum AQF standard Certificate IV (or international equivalent) in interior design or decoration.
OR
Evidence of professional industry experience by providing the following:-
Design Portfolio, and
Two (2) professional references from either of the following:-

Client
Trade Supplier
Tradesperson

Attend industry demonstrations/product events
Industry networking
Professional Development – CPD Events and ongoing learning opportunities through industry partners
Private Facebook group
Receive monthly industry e-newsletter
Business Listing on IDA website
