1. Tell us about yourself and/or your business in 150 words or less.
My Dad was a bricklayer and I was on building sites since I was 6 years old. I built my first home aged 21 and have owned, built, and renovated many more since that time. Hence, why we specialise in Residential homes. What makes us unique is our acute understanding of how things get built and our strong trade relationships.
2. What’s your secret sauce for great design?
I genuinely believe that everyone deserves a home they adore! And it’s not about any one set design style – it’s about being able to create sophisticated spaces that are curated individually for the particular client.
3. What do you enjoy most about being a designer?
I’ve got to say the problem solving – getting the best design out of restricted or tricky spaces. And then the end result – when the clients are blown away by their new spaces.
4. Where do you find inspiration?
I would have to say travel and holidays – staying at resorts, apartmeents and hotels and checking out the dining scene – restaurants, roof top bars etc.
5. How has being part of the IDA community supported or influenced your
journey? Or, what prompted you to join the IDA?
When I moved to Brisbane 10 years ago, I had no Brisbane industry connections so the supportive community of IDA was a god send!
