Our History 

With over 20 years of design and drafting experience, I, Cass Lehmann, am a proud Sunshine Coast local, born and raised near Mudjimba Beach. Growing up in a family of tradespeople, I developed an early interest in design, initially drawn to architecture but soon discovering my true passion for interiors. This passion led to the creation of Lehmann Design, a firm dedicated to crafting inspiring spaces that reflect our vibrant community. 

Key Milestones 

2002: Began a school-based traineeship in residential design and drafting, specializing in project home floor plans, elevations, and documentation for builders. 

2004: Shifted focus to kit homes, collaborating closely with builders to craft modular home designs. 

2006: Managed a local hardware store, developing unique veranda and shed solutions for clients. 

2011-2016: Returned to design and drafting with a local shop fitting company, producing commercial interior designs, drawings, and documentation in-house. 

2016: Completed a degree in interior design while raising a family, resuming operations in 2017 focusing on small residential renovations. 

2021: Founded Lehmann Design, emphasizing commercial interiors and collaborating with a diverse range of local builders. 

As of 2023, Lehmann Design has expanded its reach, undertaking projects from the Gold Coast to Noosa. We have cultivated relationships with exceptional builders across South East Queensland, continuing to create well-designed spaces for our clients.
